Sept30 4

Happy Birthday Casey. Steffi is spending the night with Casey. She bought her a book as a gift and got carded cause you need to be 16 to buy the book and Steffi is only 15. Wow that is the first time in my life I saw someone get carded buying a cartoon book.

Terry went into work this morning and when he got home he took a nap. I woke him up and we went to Wendy's for dinner. And man if you want to get grossed out just haul your cookies to Wendy's on Shreveport Barksdale BLVD and the cashier there will show you his lovely gray underpants cause his slacks were so low slung he puts KFed to SHAME.

The movie we rented for tonight didn't have captions, boo on a new video not having captions. BOOOOO!! It's a law to caption all new videos, booo.

Terry pulled a dvd from his collection I hadn't seen. The Life of David Gale.

Plot Summary for
The Life of David Gale

A University of Texas professor of philosophy and capital punishment abolitionist, David Gale (Kevin Spacey), finds himself on Death Row convicted of murder. Days before his execution, skeptical journalist Bitsey Bloom (Kate Winslet) is sent to conduct David Gale's final interview. Unaware that she would not be investigating Dr. Gale, Bitsey and her sympathetic intern leave to Texas for what is to become a story of a lifetime.
Very good movie. Very twisty and tearful.

Look I loomed a bootie!!! Just one so far, the second one is on progress. Here are the instructions.

Sept29 5

ok, I felt really draggy today, I think my finger is broke, cause everywhere I touch hurts. lol. I did manage to finish a scarf today and can hardly wait to start another. I also had lovely long naps and whined until Terry cooked me a TV dinner for lunch.

Nick came home from school in a happy mood and went to Brian's house but he was home by 5 just like I asked. Steffi came home from school in a happy mood too. Terry took Steffi and I to spend her birthday money and pick up a rake. We went to Victoria Secrets, Barnes&Noble, Sonic, Lowe's and the video store.

Tonight Terry and watched a movie, gasp. It was silly and cute and some parts reminded us of us, a long long long time ago. Just Friends.

Plot Summary for
Just Friends (2005)

When he confessed his love for his best friend during their formative high school years ago, Chris was met with a broken heart and a degrading humiliation. Only adding insult to injury was his larger than life frame which became a source of ridicule for cruel classmates. But years later and things having changed, Chris is now a hotshot record producer in Hollywood and the complete physical opposite of himself in high school. He's also got an up and coming act by the name of Samantha James who has a psychotic crush on her producer. When a freak accident occurs on the way to Paris, Chris is forced to return home with her in tow. Little does he know that he would come face to face with the friend that he tried so desperately to forget. With the chance to woo her again, Chris will do what he can despite his client's violent misgivings and a competitive rival suitor against him. No matter the crazy obstacles he must overcome, Chris will do whatever it takes to be more than just friends.

Here are some more awesome quilts my aunt made. I love these.

Good night, sweet dreams.

Sept28 5

I wasn't so tired today but I still did very little. I ripped out almost a whole finished scarf and started over, I'm much happier with it now. I am as happy ripping as I am knitting. Which reminds me, my adopted Sis Anita sent us some goodies in the snail mail today including yarn, charms, a book and cards and a shell necklace. Yippee, what fun to get a present from OZ. Thanks sweet Sis.

Here's an update to Eileen's rose garden with her wonderful great grandbaby Jay.

And more pictures of Hamel Beach. This is the hole Terry jumped in which tried to eat him. Maybe it is quicksand, he jumped out quick. The hose is connected to the boat draining water from the swamp across the highway.

This view is looking south down the river.

Here is something we haven't noticed before, trails.

And the kids are off!

That's it, I'm going to bed. Terry had school tonight.

Sept27 8

I woke up so sleepy today I went back to bed as soon as Terry and the kids left for school and work. I slept til 12:30 when Terry came home for lunch he woke me up. I wonder if I have an infection? Terry and I made pizza for lunch again, he had to take his to work with him as he had a lot of work to do.

Nick came home from school and told me about playing football. He didn't want to go to the beach tonight but I said tough, it's FEN, forced entertainment night. Steffi peeled potatoes for me after she came home from school.

I made yemenite roast chicken with cumin and batata melousseh bi senobar
They were both very good, this was a project for Steffi's Geography class so she'll get extra credit.
Here are some of the pictures from Hamel Beach. I just love going here. We walked through the woods tonight on some trails. Nick spent his time running from Steffi and her camera, lol. Beautiful blooms tonight, too bad it's getting dark so early. The boat appears to be sucking water from the land developement across the highway. Tomorrow I'll have more Hamel Beach pictures. These were all taken by Steffi.

Sept26 6

I was on a power surge this morning and made everyone breakfast before jumping on the stationary bike for 30 minutes. Then knitted with the loom til I ran out of yarn so picked up an old unfinished scarf and finished it before Terry came home for lunch.

He helped fix lunch, veggie pizza on pitas for me, and he put some sausage on his. They are so good and good for us. After lunch he had to take Steffi to get her braces tightened and took me to Hobby Lobby for yarn, but they were out of what I wanted so we ran to Michael's in a panic. They did have the yarn I wanted. Talk about fussy.

Steffi may need to wear rubber bands on her braces. She seemed bummed so I said flick them at people in class to get their attention. Nick got home before we did but he was ok.

Yeah I have pictures.

Terry and Nick

I am so tired. I didn't even want to go to the beach tonight. I need some pep!

I'm saying goodnight.

Sept25 9 1/2

Happy Birtthday Steffi. Steffi got a dig camera for her birthday and you guessed it, all the pictures are on it, so I'll be posting pictures tomorrow. We got some great ones.

I woke at 5am this morning and woke Nick up at 5:45 to take a shower. Steffi was already awake which surprised me. Terry came out later and cut up the onion for us, then we fried it with pine nuts and spread it over the cinnamon potatoes. By that smelled good.

Tonight for dinner I made orange chicken and rice which we all love, and we had orange creme soda to go with it. Special dinner for a special Steffi.

I knitted more on the loom, I'm making a red white and blue scarf, but I ran out of red. Hopefully we can get some yarn tomorrow.

I managed to save the day and figure out how to get Nick's password for his game. It's a long story but had a good ending. YEAH.

Jessica and Nate came for a visit tonight but missed out on cake. Terry came home not 10 minutes after they left. Sorry Jessi. We saved you some cake.

My eyes are blurry and I'm tired, so I'm going to bed. Goodnight.

PS, was good to talk with you today Dad.

Here's a picture using google maps of 2 planes on our base.

Sept24 10

Happy Sunday. Terry took some time off the computer tonight and watched football with me. I was soooooooooo glad, I miss him.

We did go grocery shopping today and tomorrow we need to go to the other store to pick up a cake for Steffi.

Tonight Steffi and I made mashed potatoes with cinnamon. They are so yummy. Here's the recipe. We will cook the onions in the morning and add the pine nuts, then she is taking it to school for extra credit in Geography class. We're going to make this again for Christmas.

Batata Melousseh bi Senobar (Mashed Potatoes with Butter and Pine Nuts)

2 pounds mealy potatoes
Salt
6 tablespoons butter
1/3-1/2 cup milk
Pepper
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons pine nuts

Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water till tender. Mash them, beat in butter and milk, and season with salt, pepper, and cinnamon. Fry the onion in oil till golden, add the pine nuts, and let them brown.

Serve the mashed potatoes hot, spread flat on a platter, with the onion and pine nuts on top.

Serves 6-8.

From "The New Book of Middle Eastern Food" by Claudia Roden

I couldn't find any pictures that knocked my socks off so I guess I'll go read. Nice talking to you today dad.

Happy early birthday Steffi.

Sept23 9 1/2

I had a strange dream last night, I dreamt I was reading the book I'm reading now, named Arthur and George by Julia Barnes, in the local library. Shreveport's libraries are huge and they have a nice chair that's in a corner of picture windows so the view is soothing. I set the book on a table and went off in search of Terry, when I returned to the table the book was gone. A librarian tried to help me find the book but I didn't know the title. A very strange dream for a book that is proving interesting yet difficult to read.

Terry woke me at 6:15 this morning, he thought it was a school day, surely I lamented 'it is SATURDAY!!'

Steffi had a date at the movies with Ian, and had a wonderful time. Casey is spending the night and they are rearranging Steffi's room, lucky me, I acquired her dresser. I'm going to fill it with craft stuff. It's in my green room now.

Nick and Terry have been quiet all day playing on their computers. In fact Nick took a break and watched Encino Man while Terry played on and on and on. I asked him when will he stop playing tonight and he said midnight. Here's hoping.

Jessica and Nate stopped by. Today they have been dating for one year. Happy one year to you!! They gave Steffi some presents, a $40 gift card to Victoria Secrets, and a Orlando Bloom Pirate's doll and keychain. Steffi was thrilled. Pictures tomorrow, I don't know where the camera walked off to.

We had a few sprinkles of rain tonight, enough to make it smell wet.

I finished the striped scarf for Andy and I am happy with it. I'm glad I'm not making a lot of striped scarves but at least I found one style I like. And let me say I tried about 10 different ways to make this scarf.

Goodnight everybody.

PS Jessica, here's a movie for you to watch. Click the link

Sept22 174

Today was a good day, I had a good night's sleep. Walking a mile before bedtime helped. Nick didn't have school today. Brian came over and they played on the computers.
Tonight for dinner Steffi wanted to go to Hong Kong, it's her birthday dinner and we just needed to go out to eat. Terry works on her birthday so we took her to dinner tonight.

I knitted more with the loom today. It's a little dry, I can't watch TV and loom at the same time. But I am way happy with the results for this striped scarf. I have been having a horrible time with stripes and this finally makes me happy.

3 Color Striped scarf

Nick said it looks like a maw

The inside, and this is why I didn't like stripes on straight needles.

Hey Jo, Nick thought it was boring too!

Steffi didn't mind, she's on the computer.

I'm off to finish the scarf. Goodnight all. I miss you Dad.

Sept21

Let's have some music then to go with this mood. If I could hear I would play these albums LOUD.

Foreigner - Blue Morning, Blue Day Lyrics

Out in the street it's 6 am, another sleepless night

Three cups of coffee, but I can't clear my head from what went
down last night

No we won't have our own little ways, but somehow we keep it
together

You hear me talk, but you don't hear what I say, I guess it
don't even matter

Blue morning, blue day, won't you see things my way?

Blue morning, can't you see what your love has done to me?

I've always listened to your point of view, my ways are cut
through men

And I've always been a patient man, but my patience has reached
its end

You tell me you're leaving, you tell me goodbye

You say you might send a letter

Well honey don't telephone, cause I won't be alone

I need someone to make me feel better

Blue morning, blue day, won't you see things my way?

Blue morning, can't you see what your love has done to me?

Blue morning, blue day, won't you see things my way?

Blue morning, can't you see what your love has done to me?

Blue morning, blue morning

Blue morning, blue morning

Blue morning, blue morning

Blue, blue, blue day, yeah

Foreigner - Back Where You Belong Lyrics

I felt so sure of the love that we shared

There was no reason on earth to be scared

Then I heard a rumor, it started to grow

Slowly but surely, the truth began to show

Then I started wonderin', as I picked up the phone

And a man started askin', if you were at home

You treat me like a fool, but you're so wrong

I'm gonna send you back where you belong

I put my trust in you, but I was wrong

I'm gonna send you back where you belong

You treat me like a fool, but you're so wrong

I'm gonna send you back where you belong

I never had any doubt in my mind

Now you have shown me, love can make you blind

Back where you belong, back where you belong

Back where you belong, back where you belong

Back where you belong, back where you belong

Back where you belong, back where you belong

Back where you belong, back where you belong

Back where you belong...

Foreigner - I Have Waited So Long Lyrics

I have waited oh, so long

Please don't tell me baby I was wrong

Dreaming of you every night

Holding back until the time was right

I've counted the days, day after day

Since we've been apart

Now I've found my way, I've found my way

Right back to your heart

I've been searching for you every where

Calling you, but you were never there

Seeking in the dark of night

Hoping one day you would shine a light

I've counted each day, day after day

Since we've been apart

Now I've found my way, I've found my way

Right back to your heart

I have waited oh, so long

Please don't tell me baby I was wrong

Dreaming of you every night, every night, every night

Holding back until the time was right

Ooh, I have waited so long

Aah, don't tell me I was wrong

I dream of you, I'm dreaming of you baby

Don't go away

Foreigner - Lonely Children Lyrics

You go where the wind blows, leading the life you chose

Your destination remains unknown

No one to help you, nobody cares about you

You're looking for someplace you can call home

Lonely children on the run

Lonely children need someone

Too many questions, you need to answer to them

Your information is so incomplete

You seek directions, you would be lost without them

Don't let them find you lying in the street

Lonely children on the run

Lonely children, lonely, need someone

Someone to talk to

Someone who cares

Someone who listens

Is anyone there?

They may detest you, someday they may arrest you

They stop at nothing to hold you down

You need to be free, but will they ever let you?

They won't be happy till you leave town

Lonely children on the run, run on the run

Lonely children need someone, need someone

Lonely children in the night, can't see the light

Lonely children need a guiding light, don't forget

Lonely children all alone

Lonely children have no home

Lonely children on the run

Hope someday there'll be someone

Lonely, lonely children

Foreigner - You're All I Am Lyrics

I never knew a man would be so lonely

That life could treat a man so wrong

But when the odds were all against me

You gave me the strength to carry on

You gave me a new start, so I will give you my heart

You, you are my life, you're all I am

Only you can understand the way I am

You never give me enough of your love

I need more and more each day

Honey, can't you see the only thing I can be sure of

Is that something real has come my way

Oh, so I believe my heart, though sometimes it tears me apart

You, you are my life, you're all I am

Baby it's you, you are my life, you're all I am

Only you can understand the way I am

You know I live my life for you

You are my life, you're all I am

Ooh baby it's true, you are my life, you're all I am

Only you can understand the way I am

Foreigner - Cold As Ice Lyrics

You're as cold as ice

You're willing to sacrifice our love

You never take advice

Someday you'll pay the price

I know

I've seen it before

It happens all the time

You're closing the door

You leave the world behind

You're digging for gold

Yet throwing away

A fortune in feelings

But someday you'll pay

You're as cold as ice

You're willing to sacrifice our love

You want Paradise

But someday you'll pay the price

I know

I've seen it before

It happens all the time

You're closing the door

You leave the world behind

You're digging for gold

Yet throwing away

A fortune in feelings

But someday you'll pay

Cold as ice, you know that you are

Cold, cold, as, as, ice, as cold as ice to me

Cold, cold, as, as, ice

Ooh, ooh, ooh, cold as, cold as ice

You're as cold as ice

You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know

You're as cold as ice, yes I know

You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know

You're as cold as ice, oh yes I know

You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know

You're as cold as ice, oh yes I know

You're as cold as ice, cold as ice

Foreigner - I Wanna Know What Love Is Lyrics

I gotta take a little time
A little time to think things over
I better read between the lines
In case I need it
when I´m older
Ohhhh
This mountain I must climb
Feels like the world upon my shoulders
Through the clouds
I see love shine
It keeps me warm as life grows colder
In my life there´s been heartache and pain
I don´t know if I can face it again
Can´t stop now
I´ve travelled so far
To change this lonely life

Chorus
I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me

I´m gonna take a little time
A little time to look around me
I´ve got no where left to hide
Looks like love has finally found me
In my life there´s been heartache and pain
I don´t know if I can face it again
Can´t stop now
I´ve travelled so far
To change this lonely life

Chorus
I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me

Foreigner - Just Between You And Me Lyrics

Staring at each other with accusing eyes

Keep our voices low you don't act surprised

If the word gets out yeah that's all right

I know your just looking for some sympathy

But listen you don't know how it gets back to me

You're getin' reckless girl

But that's all right

Now don't you know that one cold words gonna' lead to another

Then we'll have nowhere to go

Even if heaven and earth collide tonight

We'll be all alone in a different light

I don't care what the world can see

Its just between you and me

I see telltale signs of a lover declined

She got something' to say

He don't take the time

I don't understand

But that's ok

Now you can turn the page or you can tear me apart

Don't make an open book out of my private heart

You should know better now

That's alright

Don't you know that one cold words gonna' lead to another

Then we'll nowhere to go

Even if heaven and earth collide tonight

We'll be all alone in a different light

I don't care what the world can see

It's just between you and me

It's just between you and me

If we don't work this out we won't recover

We'll lived this out with love for one another

But with all I've heard and all I've seen

I'm still lost in the mystery

Again we're staring at each other with accusing eyes

Keep our voices low don't act surprised

If a word gets out yeah that's all right

And don't you know that one cold words gonna' lead to another

Then we'll have nowhere to go

Even if heaven and earth collide tonight

We'll be all alone in a different light

I don't care what the world can see

Its just between you and me

Even if heaven and earth collide tonight

We'll be all alone in a different light

I don't care what the world can see

It's just between you and me

It's just between you and me

Heaven and earth

I don't understand

All alone

Cold

Cold

Gonna' leave tonight

Heaven and earth

All alone

All alone

All alone

Heaven and earth

Foreigner - Damage Is Done Lyrics

(1st verse) is there a reason...
For things that you say?

the way you're treating me...
All the games i won't play?

(chorus 1) well it's too late -- we're no longer one...
I don't want you --the damage is done.

(2nd
verse) will you miss me...
When i leave you behind?

will you tell your friends...
I treated you un-kind?

(chorus 2) well it's over now...
And i'm on the run!

i don't want you
-- the damage is done!

(refrain/bridge) there have been rumors,
That my sense of humor,
Is lacking in some ways.

to me that's no reason --
It's tantamount to treason!
let's see what the judge
Has to say!

you need to find,
Someone half as blind... as i am to your games!

and maybe you'll find out,
What it's all about...

and it can drive you insane !!!

(chorus 3) ohh - ohh - oh --
The damage is done.

and now I feel it's too late--
The damage is done.

it's ohh -- oh --
oh -- oh 'ver...
now I'm on the run!

baby, you and I know --
The damage is done!

(lead guitar)

I feel it's too late...
The damage is done !!!

Sept20

No news is good news, heehee. We paid the power bill today and Steffi's friend is spending the night. Please pray for their family who are having some troubles.

I finished a scarf today, first one since my eyes wonkeyed out. I need to fringe it.

I'm off to take a bath.

Goodnight children, goodnight parents, goodnight friends.

Sept19 174

I didn't update yesterday, but I'm here tonight, heehee.

First let me say it's the second whole day Steffi has gone to school and didn't get sick. WOOT.

Terry and I made homemade pizzas for lunch. I only mention this because he so rarely helps make lunch, and he's so good at it too.
The four of us went to Hamel Park beach after dinner. Beach in the broadest sense of the word. There is silty sand sorta, there is water. It's fun to watch the kids run to the river's edge. It's fun to feel the breeze and it's hard work keeping my balance but Terry keeps a tight grip on me.

Some pictures of Hamel Beach Park.
There was a huge puddle from the rain storm 2 nights ago in the middle of the road. We had to walk careful, the silty sand is slick as you know what.

The lagoon on the left.

The Red River on the right.

Someone is 'drilling'??

WHOA NELLIE it's NICK, a rare photo op.

What are they doing out there? This image is lightened so you can see the boat. The water is not very deep.

I'm off to bed. I'm thinking about you Tator.

Sept17

Midget sleeping with Steffi's toy

OMGOSH it rained tonight!! Real rain, really rained!! I still think there's some plot Terry is trying to get out of jogging tomorrow morning. We had one whole inch of rain, it's amazing. The rain filled the bucket quick.

Isn't Shelley sweet?

Steffi was trying to teach me a new dance step tonight, she has a lot of patience, heehee. Here's a song she likes. I like it too.

I Loved Her First Lyrics by Heartland
Look at the two of you dancing that way
Lost in the moment and each others face
So much in love your alone in this place
Like there's nobody else in the world
I was enough for her not long ago
I was her number one
She told me so
And she still means the world to me
Just so you know
So be careful when you hold my girl
Time changes everything
Life must go on
And I'm not gonna stand in your way

But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it still hard to give her away
I loved her first

How could that beautiful women with you
Be the same freckle face kid that I knew
The one that I read all those fairy tales to
And tucked into bed all those nights
And I knew the first time I saw you with her
It was only a matter of time

But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But its still hard to give her away
I loved her first

From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
Someday you might know what I'm going through
When a miracle smiles up at you
I loved her first

I hope you enjoyed that song. I need to finish folding laundry, then I'm going to bed. We did the grocery shopping today and I'm tired.

Good night Steve. We love you.

No pictures today, I'll spare you all that, heehee.

I woke up mad at 2 am, Terry was still not in bed, in fact I found him and Nick still on their computers and told them time to go to sleep. Terry did earn points today by taking us all to the library when I stomped my foot like the queen and said go now.

So after we took the kids to the library we all went to Wendy's for lunch. Terry wanted a soda really bad but got tea instead, he's learning.

This afternoon I watered the front yard, changed the water out of the turtle tank and took a shower when the hose connector broke, boo. I was soaked. But since it was 101 degrees outside it felt good. What happened to the nice cool weather we were having?

We went to Hong Kong for dinner and then to WalMart for a new water sprayer for the back yard. Surprisingly Wally had Halloween decorations for sale and no Christmas stuff out yet. They had only a few water sprinklers though, boo. In fact Terry found the one and only sprinkler made of metal, and another customer asked where we got it. I felt bad telling him we had the only one. Steffi hooked it up to the hose for me tonight.

Nick's friend Brian is spending the night. They plan to play on the computers all night.

Penny has come into heat. I hope Jessica will let us borrow her doggie diaper.

Steffi, Terry and I played Monopoly, the dot com version tonight. I do not know how with only one eye I can have double vision, but I do, it made playing very hard. BTW, Terry won.

This news from Eileen, as a reminder to us all

1.Start dxdiag, and click on the "Display" tab (or "Display 1" in my case)

2.Where it says "Direct3D acceleration: Enabled" you will see a button marked "Disable". Click it.

3.Surprise surprise, a dialog box will pop up asking if you want to ENABLE your 3D acceleration. Of course you do. "Disable" button will be unchanged in dxdiag.

4.Press the Disable button again. This will really disable the 3D.

5.And then click it one more time (it reads "Enable" now). Congratulations, you're done!

Many people have reported it to have fixed there (sic) problems.

So, as bad as this report is, it was originally worse. Dr. Roberts wrote his congressman demanding the FDA release the other 20 percent, but they refused saying it was confidential. Sept15 171

Today was a good day, except Steffi had to come home from school. Maybe she took her antibiotics on an empty stomach. She spent the day coughing but she's really chirpy tonight, that is good.

Today is Terry's last day of use it or lose it leave. And it's also our last day on the juice fast. HURRAY. We went to the grocery store and bought tons of fruit, we even ate a plum instead of a candy bar on the way home.

Jessica and Nate came over to visit and gave us some pictures. I took an extra picture of lady Jessica babysits for and her daughters. Aren't they sweet.

Jessica cut the toenails from Kookie and Penny's toes today. Thank you sooooooooo much!!!!

Jessica Midget and Stephanie

Nick earned a new computer game

Can you tell me who's on vacation?

Smile Nate!!

Thanks Dad for the help with the knitting. We bought some more yarn today. Knitting is fun.

Sept14 172

All I did today was knit and think about food, lol. One more day on the juice fast and I'm ready to eat. I'm dying for Chinese. I'm so proud of Terry, he's doing so well not eating processed foods.

Steffi was home from school again today and went to the hospital where they put her on antibiotics. I always feel that is a doctor's excuse for 'we don't know what's wrong but this should keep you from saying we didn't do anything.' She's coughing and has a sore throat, it's that time of year for strep to run through our area.

I owe Nick $10, he paid the guys to paint the house number on the curb. Now our house number is visible from the street. WOOT!

I do have some cool pictures to share today.

A quilt my aunt made, she's famous for them!! Isn't this gorgeous and I love her bold colors all around.

My adopted nieces in OZ, Grayson, Riley, and Charli

Grayson eating cake.

Riley so dressed up.

Charli growing up too fast.

Steffi's flower, cause it's orange. Terry's Mom rescued this from the neighbor who had thrown a bunch of it out. It's a canna plant. She rescued 5 itty bitty plants and 2 of them are now blooming.

The turtle tower. The female river cooter, Zamboa, is the turtle on top. She loves to hog the light. Cujo is a male river cooter and Ashley gave him to Stephanie.

My first try at knitting a cable stitch. I was really happy to do this as it's hard to hold the knitting needles and this took concentration which I am easily distracted. It's two threads over size 13 needles. I don't really like this yarn.

I'm off to bed, hugs and kisses. I don't have any pictures for tomorrow, hmm, what to do, what to do....
